Embossing is a technique that allows you to emboss, to create reliefs, or three-dimensional decorations. it is a particular type of calendering that allows the engraving of a simple design on different materials like: paper, coated material, ldpe, aluminium and so on. Embossing is the process of pressuring a roll of embossing cylinder which has a pattern engraved on its surfaced.
Our Mod. SM-ECM is embossing unit when the material is thick that requires strong pressure. It consists of a shaft with embossed engravings, pressed against another cylinder covered with rubber. A special device coordinate the cylinders, preventing them from slipping and ensuring a clear impression of the design. It can be installed on extruders, slitters, bag making machines, printing machines, etc. The maximum width of the material is 3000mm.
